Security Procedure

- We can accept Visa or MasterCard only
- We will train three (3) members to operate the terminal
- We will establish a terminal “Custodian”
- Any member may accept credit card payments for dues,
fees, or course materials related to the Squadron. The member must record the
type of card (Visa or MasterCard), the card number, the expiration date, the
CVV2 number, the name of the person to whom the card is issued, and the zip
code of the billing address for the card. This information must be
communicated immediately to the terminal custodian for processing and may not
be retained by anyone except the treasurer.
- The terminal will remain connected electrically (plugged
in) at all times except when being transported
- The terminal will be “batched out” at the end of any use
session
- The member who operates the terminal will forward all
receipts and transaction reports to the treasurer along with an explanation of
the sales made. This shall be done either by hand or by mail, immediately
- The treasurer will keep transaction reports on file in
the usual manner of financial records, but will destroy receipts and charge
slips containing credit card numbers after six (6) months
